Five junk food that kills you

There are good foods and there are bad ones, but we usually know about our food and the things we intake in our daily lives. But are we being careful enough to not make a fool out of ourselves as there are some things in our daily diet that has been harming us and we don’t even know about? Here in this article, we have listed 5 of such things that are better being avoided or taken in quantities of medicines the size of the smallest pills we get suggested by our General Physician.

1.  Cherries, Apricots, Plums, Peaches: Cyanide

This new information doesn’t mean you freak out on accidentally swallowing a cherry. they’re seldom poisonous when eaten as a whole but don’t eat a broken pit should be completely avoided. besides tasting really bitter which makes them generally impossible to chew, the stones of certain fruits, like cherries, apricots, plums and peaches, contain cyanogenic compounds, the stuff that your body can synthesise into Cyanide.

Lethal amount: Hydrogen Cyanide is dangerous at about 1.52mg/Kg which means that anything more than that, i.e. the next 0.1 gram of toxin can dispatch a human. A single cherry yields 0.17 gram of cyanide per gram of seed, so just one or two freshly crushed pits can lead to death.

2.  Rice: Arsenic

Arsenic is found in Rice, especially the variety grown in Texas and this harmful toxin can induce vomiting, abdominal pain and vertigo when consumed in bigger quantity. Brown rice has seen to have the largest quantities of Arsenic whereas the instant rice has the lowest.

Lethal amount: According to the FDA, there is anywhere from 2.6 to 7.2 micrograms of inorganic (vs. organic, which is much easier for your body to metabolize) arsenic in one serving of rice. Doing the Maths we’ve found that Death by Rice can be achieved by eating 7 Million servings of rice (1 Serving=1/4th cup, hence 1800 cups), that too in a single sitting for an average 150 Pound adult.

3.  Rhubarb: Oxalic Acid

Rhubarb stalks are bright and great in cocktails and for making tangy-sweet pie fillings, but the plant’s leaves contain oxalic acid, a chemical that’s also used in household bleach and anti-rust products. If that wasn’t enough, eating the leaves can cause burning sensations in the mouth and throat, nausea, vomiting, convulsions, and even death.

4.  Apples and Pears: More Cyanide

Apples and pears possess seeds that contain the same sort of Cyanide synthesizing properties as that of found in the Cherries, Plums and Peaches. Luckily the apple-lovers or core-apple eaters have to really mash up the seed to start the process of Cyanide formation. Apple seeds contain roughly 700 milligrams of hydrogen cyanide per kilogram, meaning that you’d need about 100 grams of the pips to take out a 150-pound person, meaning a person has to eat about 150 apples in one sitting outside-in to have the Death-by-Apple experience.

5.  Deep-Fried Foods with Butter

It’s a fact everyone knows that the excess oils and butter can be disastrously bad for the heart and for the overall body as such because of the number of harmful fats it gives. These are stored in the body and without high levels of workout or a very heavy fitness regimen, these are not something easy to get rid of. These fats make up the base for the road to quick or rather sudden death. This method of Death-by-surprise can be very effective but would require eating loads of junk food, no exercise and buttery add-ons too.
